Last Friday, TASK, a non-profit organization that I work with and support, held its annual luau to raise money for its 2010 scholarship program. The event was a success as members of the Samoan community, as well as others who support TASK’s efforts, came out to enjoy some good Polynesian food and a great floorshow!
I was also fortunate enough to be able to present a donation to TASK on behalf of our Allstate Agency and the Allstate Foundation in the amount of $1000. This is the 4th year we’ve been able to contribute to TASK’s wonderful efforts to help Samoan kids pursue their educational goals. I congratulate the volunteers at TASK for continuing the good work and for your selfless commitment to our kids.
